Supporting students of Trentino heritage in their pursuit of higher education

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the scholarship, a student must meet all of the following criteria:

  • Be a member of Ogden Trentini or have a parent or guardian who is a member. Not a member? See Annette DeGiorgio today.
  • Be enrolled in a US accredited institution of higher education for the Fall of 2026.
  • Have a grade-point average of at least 3.0 out of 4.0 (or the equivalent). Students on a pass/fail system are also welcome to apply.
  • Be a United States citizen or a permanent resident alien.
  • For the purposes of this Scholarship Program, to be “Italian American” the student must have at least one ancestor who emigrated from the Trentino area of Italy.

Application Requirements

Applications must be complete and include the following:

  • A complete transcript of the applicant’s high school scholastic record.
  • A letter of recommendation from a non-relative and one from a relative relating personal attributes and service to school and community.
  • A personal letter of approximately 150 words explaining the applicant’s Italian origin, why Italian heritage is important to them, and their plans for the future.

Mark the envelope to the attention of the Scholarship Committee. All applications become the property of the Committee and all information submitted remains confidential. Scholarship recipients will be notified during the month of August.
