PLANS BEGIN FOR 2010 INTERNATIONAL CONVENTION IN TORONTO
Hang onto your fedora, everyone. We’re due another fun-filled excursion, this time to the 19th ITTONA Convention in Toronto July 23rd to July 25th. If you missed the round-trip bus ride between the Mesabi Range and Solvay, NY for the last convention in 2008, ask any club member who was there. Rudy Zattoni, for one, says it’s something to yodel about.
This year’s bus ride leaves July 20th and returns July 28th. The trip includes: Four Nights Lodging, Two Dinners, Four Breakfasts, Tour of Chicago, Visit to Little Italy, Tour of Toronto, and Good Times for Everyone. The final day for registration is May 15th (first come, first served).
Here is the finalized information regarding the convention:
· The registration fee for the convention will not be more than $285.00 (in U.S. currency) per person.
· The special charge per room per night at the host hotel---the Hilton Garden Inn---is $139.00.
Our Toronto hosts say they are confident the 2010 convention “will be a wonderful combination of old and new traditions, community togetherness and outreach, all centered around Trentino culture.” You can also learn more about the city of Toronto at www.toronto.ca/visitors.
